Meet the Staff

Hi, I’m Sydney, one of the founders of Ember Canine Co.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m passionate about helping dogs and their owners build confident, lasting relationships. My experience comes from working with dogs in a variety of settings, allowing me to provide well-rounded, personalized care and training.

For over 5 years, I worked as a veterinary technician, gaining hands-on experience handling dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments while developing a strong understanding of canine health, behavior, and safe handling practices.

Along the way, I’ve built lasting relationships with clients through pet sitting and nail trim services, earning their trust by providing dependable, compassionate care for their pets.

For the past 2 years, I’ve trained dogs alongside another training company, close friend, and mentor, expanding my knowledge of obedience, behavior modification, and practical training techniques. During that time, I’ve also been actively involved in Schutzhund training German Shepherds, giving me experience in advanced obedience, drive development, and working-dog fundamentals.

At Ember Canine Co., my goal is to help every dog reach their full potential while giving owners the knowledge and confidence to continue that success at home. Whether you are looking for private training, board and train programs, boarding, daycare, nail trims, or dependable pet care, I’m committed to providing honest guidance and individualized support every step of the way.

I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Hi, I’m Brandon, co-founder of Ember Canine Co.

Dogs have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always had a natural ability to understand their behavior and build strong, trusting relationships with them. I believe that every successful training journey starts with connection—not only between the trainer and dog, but between the dog and its owner.

As a longtime owner of multiple dogs, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience raising, handling, and working with dogs of different personalities and drive levels. My passion for learning has led me to become actively involved in Schutzhund training, where I’ve developed experience in advanced obedience, protection work, and working-dog development.

I’m also training as a bite work helper (decoy), continuing to expand my knowledge of canine behavior, drive, timing, and communication while working alongside experienced handlers and trainers. This ongoing education helps me better understand working dogs and strengthens my ability to support dogs and their owners throughout the training process.

At Ember Canine Co., I’m committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where dogs can succeed and owners feel confident every step of the way. I look forward to helping you build a stronger bond with your dog and achieve your training goals.
